Experience History
Since October 1997, I became actively involved with the private sector and more into Merit Investigations relating to Motor Vehicle Accidents that involved the following:
Reconstruction of the scene of Motor Vehicle Accidents
Hit and Run accidents
Personal injuries to drivers, passengers, pedestrians, cyclists, etc.
Reconstruction of various bus, taxi accidents / overloading , etc.
Investigations regarding negligence and negligent driving, etc.
Investigations to assist in pointing out the possible points of impact. Skid marks, wear and tear, speed limits, tire thread, steering devices, braking devices, etc.
Road Transport Permits (PDP),
Driver's licenses and permits, bus and taxi permits and the validation thereof, etc.
In the course of my career in the South African Police Service as an Official Plan Draftsmen, Crime Photographer and Accident Scene Expert for the South African Criminal Bureau (SACB) (1983 - 1988), I was daily involved with reconstruction of serious motor vehicle accidents, culpable homicide accidents, etc. On many occasions I stood as a witness in the Regional Court and other Courts to testify in various aspects of negligence and reconstruction of accident scenes.
Since October 1997, I've been involved with various accident investigations, where persons have been seriously injured or killed in motor vehicle accidents and have provided a service to well known Third Party Attorneys or Personal Injury Attorneys , as well as other well established insurance companies and institutions:
